The celebrated Made in Chicago: World Class Jazz series returns to Millennium Park for its 6th year featuring Chicago’s leading jazz artists across the spectrum of jazz—from Latin to Big Band to experimental sounds—and includes world premiere commissions, international collaborations and centennial celebrations. Every Made in Chicago: World Class Jazz concert kicks off with a short set by young, aspiring musicians from Chicago area high schools as part of the Jazz Institute of Chicago's Jazz Links Student Ensembles.

Presented by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, the Jazz Institute of Chicago and Millennium Park, the free weekly series is offered Thursdays, beginning July 29 and closing September 2, 2010.
